We are looking for a dynamic and driven Transport Supervisor to join our team in Coventry, delivering exceptional service and leading the charge in operational excellence As a Transport Supervisor at InPost, you'll play a key role in managing our fleet operations while driving continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. You’ll be the heartbeat of our transport team, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to optimize performance and maintain the highest operational standards. Location: Imperial Park, Siskin Parkway West, Coventry CV3 4PB Shift Pattern: 4on 4off Hours: 06:00am - 18:00pm Salary: £31,000 per annum What you’ll be doing: Ensure all drivers report and record vehicle defects Ensure drivers hours regulations are adhered to Work closely with stakeholders to drive forward continuous improvement initiatives and foster an environment of enhanced productivity Support the management of our client’s end-to-end transport requirements Maximise the performance of the operation and act as a key point of contact for the transport team Contribute positively to KPI performance targets and the identification of change initiatives Provide 24-hour incident support relating to operational system failure, investigate and address and communicate updates in order to deliver the required standards and minimise impact on our reputation Proactive management of health and safety ensuring employee wellbeing in accordance with Company guidelines Manage and maintain the Transport fleet ensuring that all associated operations are compliant and meet legal requirements Continue to review proposed and forthcoming changes to legislation and best practice What we need from you: A proven experience of managing employees and customers in a transport environment Professional and efficient approach to challenging situations Experience of successful people management Detailed understanding of relevant legislations in transport and health & safety Ability to prioritise, manage a varied workload and support in decision making Perks of the job: We love to reward our people for the great work they do: Build a secure future with a competitive Pension Scheme Peace of mind with Life Insurance Stay active with our Cycle2Work scheme Get the support you need with our Employee Assistance Program The InPost process: We pride ourselves on our candidate experience.
