The department is seeking a capable and motivated doctor who enjoys working in a tertiary referral service and wishes to effect change and improve care for patients within this service The post holder will join an existing team of 14 NHS gynaecologists/ Gynae-oncologists and 5 University of Oxford Clinical Academics, who together provide both a local gynaecology service to the population of Oxford and a highly specialist tertiary service in Gynae-oncology, Urogynaecology, reproductive medicine and endometriosis. This post is a Trust wide position with clinical sessions at the Horton Hospital in Banbury and the John Radcliffe Hospital sites. The postholder would be undertaking general gynaecology, however the department would be keen to facilitate additional advanced training for the right candidate in a subspecialty area of their own interest.
