Position Overview: The HVAC Training Instructor will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs on HVAC systems, ensuring participants gain the necessary skills and knowledge to perform effectively in their roles. This position involves curriculum development, hands-on training, and continuous evaluation to meet the highest standards of HVAC service and maintenance. Job Title: HVAC Training Instructor Location: Multiple Locations. Schedule: Tuesdays though Thursdays from 8:00 am – 3pm Qualifications: Possess a Valid Master’s Tradesmen’s License in the subject material. Possess a Valid Class A Contractors License. Have a minimum of 25 years of experience. Have previously owned a licensed company and supervised and managed the installation and service of the related subjects. Tasks: Travel to and Provide training at NAVFAC MIDLANT Public Works Department locations. Create and update curriculum, training manuals, and course content for HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration. Conduct up to four (12) class sessions per year for a total of 240 students per year, each class will have a maximum of 12 students per session. Ensure that all training equipment and tools are in good working condition. Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines during training sessions.
