What you'll be doing
As a video editor and motion graphics editor specialising within the health and safety sector, you will play a critical role in producing compelling and informative videos and animations that address various aspects of workplace safety. You will be responsible for editing video and animating graphics to create sequences which represent the information.
You will work closely with the production team and clients to ensure projects are delivered to the highest of standards.
Key areas of responsibility
* Ingest, organise, review and select the most relevant footage.
* Create styles / designs that reflect the client's brand from scratch or from existing brand guidelines.
* Incorporate graphics, animations, and effects to enhance the educational value of the videos.
* Collaborate closely with our content and software experts to understand project goals and safety guidelines.
* Methodically maintain organised video files and assets, ensuring easy access for future reference.
* Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video production.
* Ensure that final videos meet quality standards and align with the client's brand and safety messaging.
* Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
The skills you need
* Proficient in video editing software and the Adobe suite of tools, including After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop and Illustrator (desirable).
* Proven experience as an editor / motion graphics designer.
* Basic awareness of AI to assist production methods / outcomes (not essential).
* Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with an experienced team.
* A creative flair and mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to convey complex safety concepts visually.
* Exceptional organisational and digital asset management skills, conforming to strict in-house protocol.
* Ability to colour grade footage to a basic level.
