The Role
Our team is looking for its next graduate to provide her/him with an exciting opportunity to learn all about the business of bringing seafood to consumers. You will work on rotation with our Sustainability, Technical and Production teams at our UK seafood manufacturing site for a total period of 2 years to understand different functions and processes involved in sourcing and producing seafood for the retail market.

Duties
* Contributing to management activities and the improvement of processes owned by various internal teams.
* Collecting and analysing data and information from both internal and external sources on fisheries, aquaculture, human resources, technical and sustainability aspects along the supply chain and in the company.
* Maintaining and developing internal databases and KPI tools.
* Assisting with trials, research and reporting.
* Developing and disseminating knowledge of legal requirements, customer expectations and certification standards.
Qualifications and Skills
* BSc in marine biology or an aquatic science related degree.
* No professional experience in a related field is required.
* Natural interest in science and food production.
* Candidate must be adaptable and willing to do both practical, hands-on work and desk-based work, as well as to support day-to-day management.
* An analytical mind combined with a proactive and positive attitude, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment are needed.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team is expected.
* Excellent level of written and spoken English, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
Position based in Redditch, Worcestershire, UK. Residency status in the UK and a valid driving licence are required.
The Fisheries graduate will work under the supervision of different professionals depending on assignments in the various departments, and will refer to the Director of Sustainability.
Starting date: from January 2025 and as soon as a successful candidate is found.
Potential possibility of joining Sea Farms Ltd on a permanent basis at the end of the 2-year programme.
