Summer or winter, the Ballroom is the perfect space for large events, accommodating up to 200 seated guests. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING As an Events Team Member, you will join our team of outstanding events floor staff to deliver flawless service. You will work as part of a team to serve our Guests and create exceptional experiences and exceed expectations to ensure that every guest wants to return. THE DUTIES You’re the face of our guests’ experience, making sure that from the moment they arrive to when they leave, they’re having a memorable experience. Constantly seeking out opportunities to go above and beyond for our guests. Make it your mission to ensure that every guest leaves happy. The role works as part of a team to deliver fantastic food and beverage at events such as weddings, conferences, and private dinners, in our elegant Ballroom and library. The working hours vary from day to day and therefore flexibility in availability is key, particularly since the role involves the occasional early morning starts & late nights. You thrive on teamwork and support the management team to ensure our guests always leave with a fully positive dining experience. This is a very much hands-on role, out on the floor enhancing our guest's experience, including a certain aspect of physical moving, and lifting to set up the rooms. We believe in flexibility and multi-skilling, and you may be asked to do different tasks from time to time to enable us to meet the needs of our guests. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN YOU Passion for hospitality – you’re all about creating memorable experiences for others. Previous experience in serving in events is a plus. You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other, and has fun along the way. Have excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail. Having a reliable method of transportation to the hotel is essential – we have no on-site parking.
