Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Professional to join our team in Melksham, United Kingdom. As a Care Professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, person-centred care to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.
1. Offer companionship and meaningful social interaction to clients
2. Assist with everyday tasks such as meal preparation and light housework
3. Accompany clients to appointments or on shopping trips
4. Provide personal care, including support with bathing, showering, and dressing
5. Ensure clients maintain their dignity and independence
6. Collaborate with other care team members to deliver consistent, high-quality care
7. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to the care manager
8. Adapt to clients' changing needs and preferences
9. Participate in ongoing training and development programmes
10. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications
11. No prior experience required - full training will be provided
12. Genuine passion for helping others and making a positive difference in people's lives
13. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
14. Empathetic and patient nature
15. Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks
16. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
17. Basic literacy and numeracy skills for maintaining accurate care records
18. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
19. Clean driving licence preferred (but not essential)
20. Willingness to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
21. Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
