We are keen to appoint an outstanding, well-qualified, and enthusiastic Lead Teacher of Chemistry who is able to communicate a passion for their subject as well as accurately assess the A level practical component.
The successful applicant will join a very dynamic and rapidly developing department. This is an exciting time and a great opportunity to be part of a team intent on driving sciences forward in the years to come.
The appointed applicant is likely to have a proven track record of effective teaching and will have obtained excellent public examination results with their classes at previous schools.
The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding administrative skills as well as innovative academic leadership. It is expected that the candidate will facilitate the implementation of departmental policy within the subject, monitor progress in Chemistry at GCSE and A level, and help develop the teaching and learning of Chemistry across all age groups by sharing good practices.
