Are you currently looking for a Teaching Assistant role in the centre of Cardiff? Teaching Personnel would love to hear from you!
We are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in the centre of Cardiff. The position can work around you, whether you are looking for full-time or part-time work supporting Early Years, Foundation Phase or KS2 classes. The ideal candidate will be able to support the children, and teacher with general classroom assistance. You will also be required to support children with their learning and complete intervention work on an individual or small group basis. It is also important to use initiative in a teaching assistant role to ensure all tasks are completed and the class is prepared and ready for each lesson.
Experience as a Teaching Assistant role is desirable, but not always needed to be successful!
Ideal candidate:
Enthusiastic and hardworking individual, eager to help in all areas and use their initiative.
Ability to build professional relationships with children and teachers.
Good communication skills, being able to manage small groups of children if required.
Supporting children with their literacy and numeracy needs – subject knowledge is required.
Requirement Criteria:
Enhanced DBS (Child Only) checks must be completed before the role will commence.
EWC registration - mandatory requirement in Wales.
Experience personally or in a working environment with children (desirable).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
