Role Purpose
The Quality Control Engineer is responsible for supporting and maintaining the quality management system ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and project-specific requirements. The role involves conducting quality assurance and control activities, including supplier and internal audits, dimensional inspections, and weld inspections.
The Quality Engineer will play a key role in identifying and resolving quality issues, helping to ensure continuous improvement, and supporting engineering, procurement and assets teams to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Performing supplier and internal audits in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 as a qualified internal auditor.
Conducting dimensional inspections and weld inspections on components and assemblies.
Reviewing engineering drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
Ensuring that all inspection and test activities are conducted in compliance with applicable standards and procedures.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and non-conformance investigations.
Working closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Maintaining records and reports related to quality control and assurance activities.
Assist in the development and review of quality procedures, work instructions, and forms.
