Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking to take the next step in your career, or perhaps a Clinical Director seeking a fresh challenge in a dynamic and respected environment? This is your opportunity to lead a forward-thinking, purpose-built practice that has been providing exceptional animal care for over 20 years.
Our client believes that their team is their greatest asset. With a no-blame culture built on mutual respect, compassion, and a shared passion for animal welfare, they’ve created a workplace where every voice is valued. Collaboration is at the heart of everything they do, and they are now looking for a Clinical Director who shares that ethos.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of the practice’s clinical and operational leadership. You’ll be driving forward clinical excellence, supporting commercial growth, and nurturing a motivated and engaged team. Your leadership will help shape a high-performing environment that delivers the best outcomes for patients, clients, and colleagues alike. With strong communication skills and a hands-on approach, you’ll set the tone for teamwork and collaboration, ensuring seamless connections between your practice, central support, and the wider group.
Education, quality improvement, and Associate fulfilment will be core to your approach. You’ll lead with integrity and passion, always striving for excellence in every aspect of the business. This is your chance to inspire, influence, and make a meaningful impact.
The practice itself is a modern, state-of-the-art facility featuring the latest veterinary technology. From a brand new ultrasound machine and digital x-ray to an endoscope, bronchoscope, and in-house lab covering biochemistry, haematology, and cytology, everything you need is at your fingertips. Their fully equipped dental suite includes dental x-ray capabilities, and with two surgical theatres, the team is equipped to handle a diverse range of procedures with confidence. They are proud to hold Silver ISFM Cat Friendly Practice and Dog’s Trust Dog Friendly Clinic status, with separate cat and dog wards to ensure the comfort and wellbeing of every patient.
They understand the importance of work-life balance and offer a 4-day work week, with regular breaks built into your schedule, including time for admin before lunch and at the end of the day and no OOH. Regular team-building activities and a strong focus on personal and professional development foster a warm and positive culture where people stay, grow, and thrive.
If you're ready to join a practice where your leadership will be truly valued, and where the team is just as passionate about each other as they are about their patients, then this could be the perfect next chapter in your veterinary career.
