PE Global are currently recruiting for a Corporate Affairs Associate for a contract role with a leading multinational biopharmaceutical client based in Uxbridge - hybrid.
Job Responsibilities
Internal Communication
1. Support communications relating to, and tactical delivery of, the staff CONNECT engagement programme across UK and Ireland sites, working with quadrant teams to ensuring staff awareness and participation.
2. Content creation to support CONNECT related activities, employee engagement and broader internal communication requirements (e.g., intranet and SharePoint copy, emails, digital signage, images, video, animations, Viva Engage posts, podcasts, etc.) including ownership of UK&I updates to Amgen News and relevant site location pages.
3. Co-ordinating and delivering internal events (virtual and in-person) working cross-functionally to deliver on key initiatives such as CONNECT onsite engagement days and Mission Week, as well as All-Staff town hall meetings.
4. Liaison and management of external agencies and vendors as appropriate.
5. Collation of data to support the measurement and evaluation of internal communication activities.
External Communication
1. Ownership of external social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn and Instagram), including set-up and administration of processes to ensure content is compliant with all medical, legal, and regulatory requirements.
2. Content creation to support external communication requirements (e.g., web copy, press releases, fact sheets, images, video, interviews, animations, social media editorial calendar, etc.).
3. Liaison and management of external agencies and vendors as appropriate.
4. Support with updates to amgen.co.uk, including the administration of processes to ensure all content is compliant with all medical, legal, and regulatory requirements.
5. Support internal and external requests for logos, images, corporate descriptions, ads etc.
6. Partnering with Talent Acquisition to support the implementation of talent attraction and employer brand focused tactics.
Team Administration
1. Ownership of Veeva certification processes for internal and external content.
2. Content and delivery support for UK&I Quarterly All Staff Meetings.
3. Monitoring daily media alerts and collating insights updates as required.
4. Monitoring of shared mailboxes (UK & Ireland Communications, Connect, FlexSpace).
5. Maintenance of team resources (e.g., Microsoft Teams channel, OneDrive folders, Corporate Affairs Sharepoint Site) and processing of financial documentation via the ACCP as required (e.g., POs/SAP).
6. Development and management of the corporate affairs editorial and planning calendar, partnering with other functions to collaborate and provide communication support as required.
Requirements
1. Critical thinker and strategic communications abilities.
2. Strong writing and communications skills, including ability to develop engaging content for different audiences and stakeholders.
3. Event management experience including co-ordination of multiple teams and stakeholders to manage aspects such as event logistics and content delivery.
4. Self-starter and able to take ownership of projects to achieve results with strong attention to detail.
5. Solid computer skills and use of the Microsoft Office suite of software including Outlook, PPT, Teams and SharePoint.
6. Design capabilities using the Adobe creative suite as well as basic-intermediate level video editing capabilities using platforms such as VIMEO.
7. Familiar with social media platforms and confident in developing engaging platform specific content including visual posts, animated content and reels.
8. A collaborative team player, who can build productive internal/external relationships and work cross functionally to deliver results.
9. Flexible and adaptable, with a growth mindset - willing to participate in a variety of projects to gain new skills and experience.
