Role Overview
As a Business Development Director at JD Ross, you will play a critical role in identifying and developing new business opportunities. Your expertise will be pivotal in fostering and maintaining relationships with clients, ensuring that we continue to deliver exceptional services that cater to their specific needs.
You will be responsible for creating and implementing strategic business development plans aimed at expanding our client base and enhancing engagement with existing clients. This will involve collaboration with various internal teams to align our offerings with market demands.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve sales targets.
* Establish and nurture relationships with potential and existing clients to expand our market presence
* Conduct thorough market research to identify new opportunities and gain insights into industry trends and competitor activities.
* Collaborate with the recruitment teams to ensure alignment of services with client expectations, whilst ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through delivery to their requirements
* Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics with key clients, preparing reports for management on growth of revenue across these accounts
* Actively participate in industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings to promote the JD Ross’ brand
* Create compelling proposals, bids and presentations that effectively communicate our value proposition to clients.
Requirements
* Proven experience in business development or sales within a recruitment consultancy
* Strong understanding of the engineering and infrastructure sector, ideally within renewable energy, energy transition or oil & gas.
* An in depth understand of contract recruitment solutions, preferably on an international scale
* Demonstrable track record establishing complex recruitment solutions, such as RPO (Recruitment Process outsourcing), MSP (Managed Service Provider), SOW (Statement of Work) etc.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
* Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision making.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also thriving independently
* Possess a results-oriented mindset, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
