Role Highlights: Full-time, permanent position at a dynamic secondary school in Harrow Lead the SEN provision across the school, ensuring effective strategies are in place to support students with a range of additional needs Work closely with senior leadership, teachers, and support staff to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Oversee the assessment, monitoring, and progress tracking of students with SEN, ensuring appropriate interventions are in place Provide guidance and professional development to staff, promoting best practices in inclusive teaching Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure holistic support for students Ensure compliance with SEN legislation and policies, fostering an environment of equality and inclusion Experience & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience as a SENCO or in a similar role, ideally within a secondary school setting A thorough understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and relevant statutory requirements Proven ability to lead and manage SEN provision, with a strong commitment to inclusive education Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills A proactive approach to solving challenges and supporting diverse student needs Enhanced DBS check required Why Join Us?
