About the Role:
At Twenty 4 Seven Education we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join the Humanities department at a vibrant secondary school in Ramsgate. This role offers the opportunity to inspire and educate students in Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for geography and helping students understand their place in the world. Whether you're looking to start immediately or are available from January 2025, we welcome applications from both experienced educators and talented Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective Geography lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, following the school's curriculum.
* Plan, assess, and adapt teaching methods to ensure student progress and engagement.
* Inspire students to explore the world around them, developing their critical thinking, research, and analytical skills.
* Participate in extracurricular activities and fieldwork that enhance students' learning experiences outside the classroom.
* Collaborate with the Humanities department to create a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a Geography Teacher who is:
* Enthusiastic about their subject and committed to student success.
* Qualified with QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification).
* Experienced in teaching Geography at the secondary level, ideally including GCSE.
* Skilled in creating inclusive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
* Motivated to contribute positively to school life and the broader community
