About the Role: We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive primary/ secondary school in Witney, Oxford. Key Responsibilities: Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including but not limited to: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Speech and Language Difficulties Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Assisting with the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) Supporting pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development Creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment Communicating effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals Attending team meetings and professional development opportunities Essential Skills & Experience: Proven experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a school setting or experience working within healthcare Strong understanding of different SEN and the strategies to support pupils with these needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude Ability to work effectively as part of a team Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential Benefits of Working with Monarch Education: Competitive rates of pay £200 for any successful referral of Teachers and Teaching Assistants Dedicated consultant to support you throughout your placement Access to a wide range of teaching and support staff roles Opportunities for professional development Pension scheme To Apply: Please submit your CV by clicking on the "Apply Now" button below.
