Weighbridge Operator / Administrator – Lingerton
Salary: £28,325.90 per annum
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
The main purpose of the role is to process incoming and outgoing transactions at the weighbridge in Lingerton, Lochgilphead.
Your key responsibilities:
1. Accurately weighing vehicles entering and leaving the site
2. Ensuring correct paperwork is completed for incoming and outgoing loads
3. Checking compliance of loads according to local operating procedures
4. Updating site processing sheet on a daily basis
5. Communicating the traffic management system, and ensuring inductions are complete, for all visitors to the site
6. Ensuring vehicle turnaround times are adhered to or report delays
7. Raising purchase requisitions
8. Supporting the contract finance and admin team
9. Delivering excellent customer service at all times
10. Able to work across other sites when needed
11. Taking ownership of document control through implementing monthly meetings to review documents
12. Communicating to staff when there are any changes to documents or new documents become available
13. Assisting in publishing company communications to staff and onto site noticeboards
Essential criteria for this role:
1. Exceptional attention to detail
2. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
3. Excellent numeracy and literacy skills, meticulous attention to detail
4. A valid UK driving licence
