Salary: Up to £40,000 per year (37.5 hours per week)

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-respected client for a Deputy Manager to join their team in a 23 bedded children's residential home, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD) and mild to moderate Learning Disabilities (LD).

About the Role:
As the Deputy Manager, you will work alongside the Registered Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality care and support services for young people with complex needs. Key responsibilities include:
* Creating a warm, nurturing environment tailored to the needs of the young people.
* Ensuring the home operates in compliance with Ofsted standards, policies, and regulations.
* Developing and implementing care plans to meet the social, emotional, and educational needs of young people.
* Leading on strategies to manage challenging behaviors and promote safeguarding.
* Managing staff performance, providing supervision, and ensuring access to training and development.
* Overseeing budgets, staffing, and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the home.
About You:
To excel in this role, youll need:
* Essential qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) and NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People (or equivalent).
* Significant experience working in a residential setting with young people who display challenging behaviors.
* Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively, ensuring high standards of care.
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding and experience working with external agencies.
* A full driving licence and willingness to use your own vehicle when required.
