UK Sales Manager - Competitive salary + OTE + Car
Reporting to: UK Head of Commercial
Fleet Management / logistics or transport Industry experience desirable
Field/ Remote based with monthly visits to Norwich.
Direct reports: 4
This role will play a pivotal part in developing and executing UK specific strategic sales initiatives, in line with the devised SNAP strategy.
The responsibilities will include:
1. Developing and implementing strategic sales plans that expand the customer base and solidify our presence in the marketplace.
2. Achieving sales and margin growth through hitting sales targets by successfully managing sales teams.
3. Assessing the teams' strengths and weaknesses, establishing productive relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
4. Building and promoting healthy, long-lasting customer relations by partnering with them.
5. Developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies, and programmes to capture key demographics.
6. Providing reports of field sales success and communicating the pipeline and outcomes to the executive management team.
7. Fostering and maintaining strong, lasting relationships with key fleets, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and loyalty.
8. Providing bespoke reports on progress against agreed KPI’s & sales teams targets.
9. Identifying, developing, and deploying bespoke strategies for unique selling propositions and differentiators.
10. Prospecting new clients and reporting on success pipeline.
11. Positively working with existing fleets to maintain and enhance volumes through strategic initiatives.
12. Attending/running regular sales strategy enhancement meetings.
13. Acting as the business knowledge specialist to share best practices for converting warm leads into direct sales.
14. Driving new, engaging incentives to create a healthy competition culture among the teams.
15. Collaborating with the Certas Fuelcard team to drive additional margin.
16. Creating and ensuring the execution of individual sales campaigns for each Sales Account Manager.
17. Monitoring and reporting on sales productivity, including upselling and reopening of accounts.
18. Involvement in key prospective negotiations with fleets to close significant opportunities for SNAP.
19. Reporting and monitoring of current and new business progress by team member and country.
20. Consistent monitoring of the financial performance of the Sales team portfolios.
21. Creating a strategy with the SNAP Marketing team for incremental margin improvement opportunities.
22. Conducting deep dives to customers actively offering rebates to encourage additional revenue.
23. Supporting the EU team in utilising new EU Service partners.
24. Sourcing credible data for the Sales team to prospect.
The role holder will bring a combination of strong leadership, sales, and team management skills with the ability to create a healthy sales culture, and a passion for developing and empowering a successful sales team to thrive and exceed their respective targets.
