Junior & Experienced Roles Available
Based in South London
Are you passionate about Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) and looking for an opportunity to drive energy efficiency and smart building innovation? We are hiring for two levels of BEMS Consultants to join a specialist consultancy delivering cutting-edge projects across the UK.
The Opportunity
We are looking for both Junior BEMS Consultants and Experienced BEMS Consultants to provide expert consultancy on building controls, system optimisation, and energy management strategies. You will work across the full project lifecycle—from feasibility and design to implementation, commissioning, and performance optimisation—helping clients achieve greater energy efficiency and carbon reduction.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct System Condition Surveys, feasibility studies, and energy audits
* Provide technical consultancy on BEMS design, implementation, and optimisation
* Assist with tender management, specification reviews, and cost analysis
* Lead project management and contract administration for client projects
* Oversee commissioning management, snagging, and system witness testing
* Support clients with system training, reporting, and performance optimisation
* Stay ahead of smart building technologies and energy efficiency innovations
What We’re Looking For
For Junior BEMS Consultants:
* HNC or higher in an engineering discipline (electrical/mechanical)
* Passion for smart buildings, controls, and energy management
* Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail
* Interest in developing expertise in BMS systems such as Trend, Tridium, and Niagara
For Experienced BEMS Consultants:
* Proven experience in BMS consultancy, controls, or systems integration
* Strong technical knowledge of BMS/iBMS/Smart Buildings technologies
* Experience with project management, tendering, and commissioning
* Ability to work closely with clients, contractors, and senior stakeholders
