About the Role
As a Media Account Director, you will be responsible for leading key client accounts, developing media strategies, and ensuring campaign success. You’ll work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver best-in-class offline media campaigns across press, inserts, door drops, and more.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead multiple client accounts, acting as the main point of contact and ensuring exceptional client service.
* Plan and execute offline media campaigns, ensuring they align with client objectives.
* Analyse campaign performance, provide insights, and present strategic recommendations.
* Identify opportunities for new initiatives and revenue growth.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with media owners and suppliers, negotiating the best deals.
* Collaborate with internal teams to drive innovation and thought leadership.
* Contribute to new business pitches and proposals, supporting agency growth.
What We’re Looking For
* 4-5 years’ experience in planning and buying offline media (press, inserts, door drops, etc.). Its mainly offline (but not just print, we need people that can plan, TV, radio, OOH etc) but a working knowledge of digital would be useful.
* Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with confidence in client-facing roles.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and optimise campaigns.
* Experience using tools such as Nielsen, MediaTel, and TGI.
* A proactive, strategic thinker who can identify new opportunities and drive results.
* A team player with exceptional project management skills.
