Job Title: Quality Engineer

We are currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team and support their Quality Department across internal and external Quality, Environmental, and Regulatory matters.
Job Summary
As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with quality and environmental standards, supporting regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will assist with maintaining the Integrated Management System (IMS) and contribute to enhancing processes across our the UK business units.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and develop the Integrated Management System (IMS) in compliance with relevant ISO standards and corporate guidelines.
* Work with process management tools such as iGrafx/Signavio, SAP, CRM, and SharePoint.
* Assist in the development and control of document management systems .
* Support complaint management and contribute to issue resolution across business units.
* Ensure compliance with product and regulatory requirements (e.g., MHRA, HPRA, CE, UKCA, RoHS, CSA, SEMI, UL).
* Support the ISO17025 accreditation for the IQS calibration lab.
* Lead and manage product safety recalls, FSCA/FCA's, CAPA, and quality improvement initiatives .
* Assist with Net Promoter Score (NPS) improvement actions .
* Monitor and follow up on Customer Perfect Order (CPO) actions related to on-time delivery (OTD) and other KPIs.
* Provide quality and environmental training for staff, including induction sessions.
* Serve as a key contact for internal and external quality communications within the business.
* Support customer-facing teams with tender questionnaire information related to quality, environmental, and regulatory issues.
* Utilize CAPA and 8D problem-solving techniques and promote problem-solving skills across the business.
* Support internal and supplier audit programs, ensuring timely closure of audit points.
* Assist in third-party audits when necessary.
* Promote environmental awareness and support waste reporting, including WEEE compliance.
* Encourage LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives across processes, products, and teams.
What We Are Looking For
* Experience in Quality Engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or regulatory environment.
* Strong knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 17025) .
* Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to medical devices, electronics, or industrial equipment.
* Hands-on experience with CAPA, 8D problem-solving, and audit processes .
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to work independently and proactively manage multiple tasks.
* Competence with SAP, CRM, SharePoint, and process management tools is advantageous.
