* Reading, understanding & accurately interpreting engineering drawings
* Loading & unloading work in progress onto the machine
* Setting up a robotic welder
* Accurately using the measuring equipment required for welding
* Visual and dimensional inspection of welds
* Carry out weekly & daily maintenance checks of work equipment
* Maintain a safe, organised workstation
* Use of the company MRP system
* Report any defects and actively participate in root cause identification and improvement actions
Full training will be provided to the successful candidate however, candidates should possess:
* Ability to maintain a clean and organised work area.
* Mechanical aptitude and analytical thinker with the ability to solve problems.
* Ability to read & accurately interpret engineering drawings.
* Possess proficient IT skills.
* Verbal/written communication skills.
* Windows-based operating systems/programs knowledge.
* Work both independently and as part of a team.
* Meticulous eye for detail., Previous experience in the precision engineering sector is beneficial
* Experience within the hydraulics sector is preferred
* Robotic Welding experience is advantageous, Applicants for this role must be eligible to work legally in the United Kingdom.
