An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join a fast-growing Housing Management team at a nationally recognised law firm.
Known for delivering exceptional service to Registered Providers and Local Authorities, this team is consistently recognised in Legal 500 and Chambers and continues to expand across major national and regional frameworks.
Housing Management Solicitor – Up to £60,000 Salary Depending on Experience
The Role
In this role, you’ll support a broad client base on complex housing management issues, including:
* Litigation & Advisory Work : Handle cases involving possession proceedings, anti-social behaviour, sub-letting, and failed succession.
* Tenancy Management : Advise on all aspects of tenancy, from income management to relationship breakdown and mental health considerations.
* Injunctions & Equality Act Guidance : Lead on injunctions and public law compliance, ensuring clients meet their legal obligations.
* Policy Development : Review and draft key tenancy agreements and policies to strengthen clients’ housing management frameworks.
The Candidate
* Experience: Housing Management Solicitors with 3 years PQE+
* Background: Representing Registered Providers or Local Authorities
* Passion: Genuine passion for social housing law and making a positive impact
* Skills: skilled in managing a diverse caseload with a proactive, can-do attitude with strong communication skills and the ability to adapt style for various audiences
* Supervision: Proven ability to supervise junior team members effectively
* Culture: Enthusiastic about delivering high-quality client service and support
* Non Essentials : Advocacy experience (advantageous but not essential)
