Higher Level Teaching Assistants - Endeavour House School
We are looking for Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) to join our 1 Ace School in Ilford, London, you will be working with an experienced team and in a culture where children are respected, listened to, and involved in as many decisions as possible.
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant / HLTA, your day will be varied and interesting you will be able to support our teachers by assisting in the classrooms or out in the community, whilst following a flexible structure and supporting our children and young people to unlock their passion for learning.
1 ACE (Another Chance Education) is our alternative education provision, which works with children and young people who struggle in their formal or specialised education settings; we offer education on an outreach basis or within one of our Ofsted registered schools.
As the Higher Level Teaching Assistant / HLTA you will work within a Trauma-informed practice model where we can support and follow a therapeutic practice.

Our Team at Endeavour House School – Ilford
We are a small and friendly team based in the vibrant community of Ilford, London, our school Endeavour House is a special educational needs school (SEN) with a unique, relaxed, and focused atmosphere.
Our goal is to create a learning environment where emotional well-being and academic success walk together, enabling each child to succeed. We work with children with social, emotional, and emerging mental health needs.
Hours
Term Time, this goes in line with the local authority.
Our full-time hours are 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30 pm
The role is full-time over 5 days per week, however, if you would like the opportunity for part-time or compressed hours, we would be happy to speak to you about this.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant Requirements
11. Good written and IT skills
12. Able to communicate with children, colleagues, and external customers
13. Able to actively listen to others
14. Valid Driving Licence
15. Have the Right to Work in the UK
