Our company provides safe and reliable transport for SEN students aged 5 to 22, across the Lewisham area. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our pupils get to school and back safely every day. This is a term-to term role but you will be paid when the schools close. If you're a reliable, trustworthy individual interested in supporting SEN children, we encourage you to apply Key Responsibilities: Plan routes to minimise time and costs. Handle contingencies for driver absences and vehicle breakdowns. Monitor drivers timekeeping and ensure punctuality. Identify any missed pupils and arrange prompt pickups. Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, legal, environmental, and company policies. Communicate effectively with drivers, passenger assistants, school staff, and local authorities. Perform any other activities necessary to support school transport services. About us Peoples Choice transport provides transport for SEN students aged 5 to 22 with social emotional and mental health issues. We are an independent company, but all our places are funded by Local Authorities. All our pupils have Education, Health, and Care Plans. The Person Proven experience in a similar environment, such as transport planning, logistics, or transport coordination. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Strong organisational and data analysis abilities, with proficient Excel skills. A proactive approach to planning and prioritising workloads. Problem-solving skills to address challenges as they arise. Clean and valid DBS.
