Part-time SEN Teaching Assistant required for Primary school in Crowton (Year 1)
We are seeking a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 pupil with an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) and an autism diagnosis. This rewarding part-time role will allow you to make a significant impact on a young learner’s development and experience in school, helping them navigate their educational journey with confidence.
In this role, you’ll provide focused, one-on-one support to the pupil, helping them engage with classroom activities and providing reassurance and encouragement as they explore their surroundings and learning. Working closely with the class teacher, you will help adapt materials, structure routines, and ensure a nurturing, stable environment tailored to the child’s individual needs. Your approach will be guided by empathy, patience, and a passion for helping children overcome barriers and reach their full potential.
This position requires availability Monday to Friday, from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm, with a pay rate of £85 to £95 per day. This is an ideal role for someone with experience in working with children with autism or SEN, though a caring attitude and commitment to learning and growth are equally valued.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
