We are seeking a highly skilled ITSM DevSecOps Engineer with extensive experience in AWS to join the dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysis, triage and reporting from a wide range of AWS and in-house IT services and leveraging AWS technologies as part of ensuing the ongoing security of our infrastructure. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in Cloud Security plus a good working knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) and a understanding of AWS services. Key Responsibilities: CI/CD Deployment: Manage and automate the deployment of AWS resources via CI/CD pipelines. DevOps & GitOps Practices: Implement and optimize DevOps principles and GitOps methodologies to streamline our development processes. Container Management: Work with Dockerfiles and docker build pipelines. Security Integration: Integrate AWS Security services and other security tools to enhance our cloud security posture. Monitoring & Alerts: Manage AWS and in-house security monitoring solutions and alerts to ensure system health and responsiveness. Compliance Tools: Utilize security and compliance scanning tools within both AWS and Siemens own estate such as WIZ and work with other SIEM tools. Policy Enforcement: Develop and manage AWS policies to enforce compliance and security standards across our infrastructure. Quality Gates: Establish and maintain quality gates within CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality deployments. Scripting & Automation: Create Python / Bash / PowerShell automation scripts to streamline operations and enhance deployment workflows. Experience: Preferred 5 years of experience in IT Service Management and AWS. Proven experience in aDevSecOpsrole within Operational Cloud Service Teams. Strong understanding of AWS DevOps, CI/CD practices, and GitOps. Familiarity with AWS services, including IAM, EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, VPC, Backup, CloudWatch, Security (GuardDuty, WAF, Shield). Proficiency with Terraform and CloudFormation. Experience with GitLab Ci/Cd or similar tools. Experience with security and compliance scanning tools. Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker Proficiency in scripting, preferably with Python, Bash and PowerShell (useful) Associated or professional level AWS Certification preferred. Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect ITIL Foundation, or equivalent certifications. Skills: Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.) Proficiency in ITSM frameworks and similar tools plus, ServiceNow, BMC Remedy Familiarity with Atlassian tools including Confluence, Service Desk and KanBan Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
