Job Description
As our next Reservation Agent, you will be:
1. Responsible for all reservations over the phone, by fax or internet, e-mail and handles all associated operations.
2. Increases and optimises room sales in line with the brand and hotel's sales policy.
3. Ensures guests receive a warm welcome and assistance as requested in line with the Company standards.
4. Follows up the administration of reservations very thoroughly, making check-in operations easier for the front desk team.
5. Handles reservations by applying the various step-by-step processes defined by the brand.
6. Enters reservation details precisely and correctly.
7. Ensures that information is passed on to the people concerned.
8. Confirms the reservation; takes care over written communications.
9. Communicates and cooperates with the other hotel departments.
Qualifications
1. Guest focused personality is essential.
2. Experience is an asset.
3. Prior experience working with Opera or a related system.
4. Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
5. Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus.
