We’re looking for a Learning and Development Partner to join our team in Kings Hill, West Malling, 12-month fixed contract.
We’re excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Learning & Development Partner to join our People & Culture team for an initial 12-month fixed-term contract with the potential to become a permanent role.
As this is a brand-new position within Westfalia Fruit, you will have the chance to design and shape our Learning & Development function across our European markets. You’ll play a key role in establishing impactful programs focused on employee growth, onboarding, and performance management, supporting our people and enhancing business success. Working closely with stakeholders, you’ll bring strategic L&D initiatives to life while also being hands-on in delivering programs that will shape the future of Westfalia’s workforce.
Responsibilities include:
* Learning Program Design and Development: Collaborate to identify and create learning programs tailored to company goals, using in-person, virtual, and blended formats.
* Onboarding and Induction: Oversee engaging onboarding experiences that integrate new hires into our culture and set them up for success.
* Performance Management Support: Implement performance tools, guide development planning, and deliver training workshops to drive effective goal-setting.
* LMS Administration: Manage the Learning Management System, ensuring accessible, high-quality content that tracks learner progress.
* Training Delivery and Facilitation: Lead training sessions, applying adult learning principles to create engaging, impactful learning experiences.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with stakeholders to align L&D initiatives with team-specific and organisational goals.
Requirements
* Proven experience in Learning & Development with a balance of program design and hands-on facilitation.
* Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
* Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills.
* Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning development.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building partnerships with stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong organisational skills and project management abilities.
Desirable
* Background in FMCG, manufacturing, or similar industry.
* Proficiency in a European language such as French, German, or Spanish.
* Knowledge of European employment regulations relevant to L&D.
