At this friendly specialist Orthodontic practice, we care for both NHS and private patients. You’ll work alongside an expert clinical team, including Specialist Orthodontists and Therapists in this modern and well-equipped practice. Giffnock Orthodontic Practice is one of circa 70 specialist orthodontic practices within PortmanDentex, making us the leading orthodontic provider in the UK.
About you as a Qualified Dental Nurse
We welcome your application to our Dental Nurse vacancy if you have the following skills and qualifications (experience in Orthodontics isn’t necessary):
* Valid certification or diploma in Dental Nursing
* Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
* A positive attitude, empathy, and the ability to communicate well with patients and colleagues
* Passionate about building great relationships with patients and colleagues, and providing exceptional standards of care
About you as a Trainee Dental Nurse
We welcome your application to our Trainee Dental Nurse vacancy if you have the following skills and qualifications:
* GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above are essential to undertake the course
* Enjoy working as part of a team, and are a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care
* Happy to be a key player in the team providing chair-side assistance, ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session
* Comfortable learning to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in all procedures
There will be one day a week required at a local practice for general dentistry.
