We are seeking an experienced Electrical Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Delkia, a leading engineering and technical company based in the UK.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing and leading EC&I engineering teams, with a strong background in electrical control systems, instrumentation systems, and power systems.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of control, electrical, and instrumentation systems for various projects.
You will lead and manage the EC&I engineering team, providing technical guidance and support to ensure that all engineering activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and project requirements.
This is a contract role, working on a minimum 12-month contract. The salary range for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Requirements:
* Chartered Engineer status preferred
* Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
* Extensive experience in EC&I engineering, preferably within the nuclear / clean energy sector.
* Proven experience in managing and leading engineering teams.
* Strong knowledge of power systems, control systems, and instrumentation systems.
* Excellent understanding of industry standards and regulations.
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex engineering projects from conception to completion.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound engineering decisions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the design, development, and implementation of control, electrical, and instrumentation systems for various projects.
2. Lead and manage the EC&I engineering team, providing technical guidance and support.
3. Ensure all engineering activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and project requirements.
4. Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to define project scopes, deliverables, and timelines.
5. Conduct technical reviews and assessments of engineering designs and documentation.
