As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic development of a group of companies in Liverpool. You will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, working closely with the Head of Finance and Board of Directors to drive efficiencies, acquisitions, and growth across the wider organization.

Description
Duties and tasks of the Finance Manager:
* Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, monitoring KPIs and performance appraisals.
* Prepare month-end management accounts, reports, budgets, variance analysis, financial statements, and P&L.
* Manage year-end accounts production and liaise with external auditors.
* Present MI and company financials to the Board.
* Provide operational support and act as the go-to person for effective communication between the Board and the wider team.
* Assist in preparing long-term strategic budget planning information.
* Attend budget holder meetings, present figures, and discuss variance analysis.
Profile
To be successful as the Finance Manager, you will have:
* Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA.
* Experience operating at Finance Manager level and working closely with Directors and Senior Leadership Teams.
* Experience in managing large and complex budgets.
* Experience monitoring funding and producing financial reports, including monthly management accounts and year-end audits.
* Ability to analyze financial issues, interpret complex information, and offer sound and professional advice.
* Commercial awareness and ability to achieve value for money.
* Able to work to tight deadlines and communicate company needs to the wider business and stakeholders.
