We are currently recruiting for a Supported Employment Performance Manager (SEPM). The Programme Cheshire East- Inspiring Futures is a voluntary provision covering the east of Cheshire for people aged 16 from economically inactive cohorts, including those with physical, mental health conditions and/or other disabilities. The programme focuses on providing specialist Supported Employment to enable participants to move into paid or voluntary employment. This is achieved by delivering tailored support to each individual’s needs, focusing on overcoming barriers by identifying employment aspirations whilst providing consistent contact and intensive support throughout the participant journey. The Role Reporting to the Head of Service the Supported Employment Performance Manager (SEPM) will lead the day-to-day management of the Supported Employment delivery team. You will lead on the coaching and development of Supported Employment team, ensuring key performance indicators are understood and observed by the team so that all participants are provided with the same high standard of service that maximises their chances of securing sustainable employment. You will also undertake regular caseload reviews with SESs, prioritising those who are underperforming so that all individuals have the capability to deliver according to our participant service expectations. This is an office-based role, which also has an element of outreach on occasion. The ideal candidate should be willing to commute to both offices where we are delivering the contract from ( Crewe & Macclesfield ) as well as any other occasional outreach (expenses covered by the business for any travel outside of base office). The salary for this role is £35,500. Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate, develop and performance manage the team to continuously improve and increase their capability and deliver against quality, performance targets adhering to Supported Employment standards and fidelity Ensure customer service standards are understood and observed by your team to ensure all participants are provided with the same high standard of service that maximises their chances of securing sustainable employment Undertake regular caseload reviews with the team, prioritising those who are underperforming so that all individuals have the support and capability to deliver key performance indicators (KPIs). Manage day-to-day contact with key stakeholders at a local level, maintaining a positive working relationship to ensure we receive sufficient customer flows to deliver according to service level agreements (SLAs) Drive growth of our business through the proactive sales activity, the development of employer accounts and opportunities to provide commercial services to employers. Strong communication skills with high energy, confidence, and adaptability Customer service skills, driven and willing to put the customer participant at the heart of everything you do Ability to understand and decipher key financial drivers from the P&L Understanding of employer’s needs, experience of training needs analysis and organisational needs analysis, translating these in to fit-for-purpose programmes and services Knowledge and understanding of Supported Employment and Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Models Desirable Driving license and own car Experience of supporting participants from economically inactive groups into employment Educated to a degree level or equivalent experience Level 3 in Employability/Supported Employment QCF in Advice & Guidance (Level 3) NIDMAR trained Certified Disability Management Professional.
