Responsibilities:
* Provide English tutoring to secondary school students
* Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to individual student needs
* Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
* Provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive curriculum
Minimum Requirements:
* Teaching qualification
* Experience in teaching English at the secondary level
* SEN (Special Educational Needs) experience
* Bachelor's degree in English or related field
* Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level
* Strong understanding of the English curriculum
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Organisational skills to effectively plan and manage lessons
* Additional training in SEN education
This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis in a secondary school setting. The tutor may need to work with students who have special educational needs.
