MANE is currently seeking a Planner for our Aerospace client based at London Heathrow Airport.
As a Planner, you will be required to effectively utilise resources to maximise output within the available cabin maintenance slot periods. This role involves close collaboration with Cabin Planners, attending daily meetings, and ensuring timely communication regarding weekly tasks and material availability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and manage both long-term and short-term plans for future cabin maintenance activities.
2. Oversee cabin maintenance slots to optimise aircraft cabin maintenance and defect rectification objectives.
3. Prioritise and coordinate forward cabin maintenance requirements.
4. Ensure the availability of necessary materials, tools, and hangar space.
5. Use IT tools (e.g., Bit-on, Quinyx) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) effectively.
6. Create and control task cards for maintenance.
7. Collaborate with Materials Planner to ensure timely stock availability.
8. Maintain clear and appropriate communication throughout cabin maintenance activities.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
1. Professional training in an aeronautical field or equivalent knowledge gained through extensive professional experience.
2. Experience in an aircraft maintenance production environment.
Preferred Experience:
1. Significant experience in an aircraft maintenance production setting.
2. Proficiency in resource and material planning.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Experience in managing and executing both short- and long-term plans.
5. Familiarity with aviation technical documentation.
