We currently have a part time opportunity for 15 hours per week for a caring, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our team in Thurso, Caithness.
In this role you will be supporting a lady live independently in her own home and work with a tailored care and support plan to meet her individual needs.
The lady we support enjoys going for walks and meeting up with friends. She also enjoys Scottish music, the local cinema and pampering sessions and gets on well with people who are kind and fun to be around. Her home is in a friendly cul de sac with a large garden and summer house and enjoys spending time there when friends come to visit. There is also parking available. There is a lovely beach with stunning views in walking distance and a train station and bus stops nearby.
Shift patterns are between 9am-9pm and sleepovers- flexibility required including weekends.
You will provide support in all aspects of daily living. Previous experience of autism would be beneficial, the staff team is trained in Autism awareness. We are seeking someone who is kind and patient.
A driver would be an advantage but not essential.
Sometimes the people we support really need a male or female person to support them. For this particular role, a female colleague is required. This is a genuine occupational requirement as defined by the Equality Act .
