The Production team are responsible for the end-to-end delivery of stills, video and film services across the full client portfolio. This team is 25 strong and is integral to the business and production success. The team continue to grow and develop delivery skills day to day, strive to deliver consistently high standards, whilst at the same time thriving in the fast-paced creative agency environment. About the Role The Lead producer will bring a wealth of experience to lead their team of senior producers, producers and production assistants. Their knowledge of handling multiple high-value clients and projects is essential to this role. Main Duties & Responsibilities As a Lead Producer you will be responsible for the line management of producers and assistants within your team. You will be required not only to take ownership of creative projects but also to guide your team in their learning and development. As well as delegating tasks and reporting on the progress of the team, you will be overseeing the production process from end to end, ensuring that all requirements from the client are completed on time and within budget. Overseeing complex and high-end campaigns, requiring skill and effort, whilst monitoring and working with a sharp eye for detail, colleagues will rely on the senior producer to plan and execute clear strategies and timelines. Driving processes end-to-end, this role involves encouraging the team to simplify processes in order and be more productive. Confident in decision making, the senior producer is always ready to face new challenges while striving for the best client output. Lead and manage the production team, including directors, editors, camera operators and other crew members. Collaborate with clients, stakeholders and creative teams to develop campaigns, video concepts, scripts and storyboards that align with project goals and objectives. Oversee all aspects of pre-production, production and post-production including scheduling, budgeting, hiring crew, securing locations and managing logistics. Ensure all content and deliverables meets brand standards, creative vision and technical specifications. Review scripts, treatments, rough cuts and provide feedback and guidance to the production team. Manage project timelines, deadlines and budgets, adjusting as needed to ensure successful project completion. Allocate jobs to the production team or relevant department, with the ability to decide on which “talent to task” is appropriate. Communicate with other departments such as Project Managers and Operations to ensure the correct processes are in place and keep up to date with company policies. Stay current with industry trends, technologies and best practices in video production, and implement innovative techniques to enhance the quality and efficiency of the production process. Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors and industry professionals to support business development and future project opportunities. Mentor and develop production team members, providing guidance, training and support to help them grow and excel in their roles. Liaise with head of production on best practice within the production team and help implement different ways of working. Example task level responsibilities Pre-Production Create budget and timing plan for the Production using agency systems Ensure resources are booked and briefed o Distribute model briefs to agencies, collate and share with client Liaise and provide project visibility with Crew Confirm all studio and resource booking Source and book models Hiring and booking equipment Set build – briefs/bookings/co-ordinate and oversee quality to brief Samples – book in merch/co-ordinate and oversee quality to brief Stylist – book in steaming clothing/wardrobe shopping- brief Prep day full team – provide brief if received from client, otherwise run through information production does have i.e. set requirements/models PPM with client Circulate call sheets Shoot Present and prepared on set Co-ordinating shoot Tracking all deliverables are captured Bringing models on to set Point of contact and knowledge holder for any questions Support shoot crew/advice of changes Liaise with client services for decisions and scope management Manage deliverables through process Post- Production Pack Down Brief and oversee deliverables in retouch or video (if in scope) PO, reports Administration tasks – checking invoices, queries Reconciliation /Washups Skills & Experience Experience producing stills, video and film in a creative agency 2 years of team management Great client facing and producer management skills Ability to own key accounts and deliver complex and high value projects with self-sufficiency Experience delivering in a fast-paced environment – and adapting to business needs Exceptional organisational, interpersonal, and multitasking skills Experience of delivering a variety of integrated projects for platforms including television, digital, online and social – including creative and production Systems lead approach with production practices and delivery with good understanding of production methodology Approachable and a confident communicator (in person and on email), pathfinder and problem solver Interest and appreciation of high-quality creative output 5 years experience – creative industry experience essential.
