Civil Site Manager - Purpose of the Role
To oversee clean and wastewater projects across the region, ensuring effective programme management, subcontractor coordination, and client engagement while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
Civil Site Manager - Key Accountabilities
Read, interpret, and clearly communicate construction drawings for site layouts and material measurements.
Ensure accurate setting out, providing precise lines, levels, and reference points on-site.
Influence site progress to ensure programme deadlines are met.
Build strong relationships and manage interactions with clients and subcontractors.
Collaborate with team members to adhere to Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety standards during all project phases.
Maintain and implement the Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements, policies, and procedures.
Continuously enhance industry knowledge and share best practices with the team. Civil Site Manager - Competency Requirements
Strong ability to take initiative and accountability for projects from start to finish.
Excellent deadline management skills, motivating teams to achieve targets.
Effective communication and leadership capabilities. Civil Site Manager - Technical/Professional Expertise
Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant on-the-ground experience.
Experience in the water sector is advantageous.
Proficiency in numeracy and IT skills, including MS Office (Word and Excel).
