The Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working within a KS1 class working on a 1 to 1 basis with a pupil who has Speech and Language needs along with Global Delay. This role is a lovely position where you will be supporting this pupil with their educational development and using your initiative to adapt learning activities to meet their needs and misconceptions. You will be expected to: Have previous experience of working with children. Have high expectations of Positive Behaviour Management. Communicate clearly with the Class Teacher to show children’s learning and development. Create a positive learning environment. Communicate their development with SENCO and Carers.
