The service consists of separate bungalows near Llanelli town centre. Our six service users enjoy a variety of activities bespoke to each individual, either in the home or out and about. Your day could be spent supporting our individuals with everyday tasks, driving them on days out or attending Day Service. What is the role? Your day could be spent supporting individuals with everyday tasks, driving them on days out or helping them to Facetime their friends and family. The people we support have complex needs and it is a challenging role with plenty of job satisfaction where you will make a positive difference to their lives. You will contribute to enabling people to set, develop and achieve their goals, being part of which is highly rewarding. You will be involved in all aspects of day-to-day support for our individuals, including; All aspects of personal care Administering medication Food preparation Laundry Acting as a staff advocate for non-verbal individuals Liaising with family members Outings, such as to the beach Attending day service Feeding and PEG feeding (full training provided) What skills and experience do you need? A background of working with people with learning disabilities or physical health needs is desired, but not necessary as full training and support from senior staff and management is provided.
