We are pleased to present this unique opportunity to join a Tier 1 Legal 500 Law Firm that specialises in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence based in their Manchester office.
Clinical Negligence - Litigation Executive (Grade C) - Manchester - Hybrid
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a reputable law firm in Manchester city centre, specialising in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence. As the firm’s Clinical Negligence department continues to expand, they are looking to appoint an experienced Litigation Executive or Fee Earner to strengthen the team.
In this role, you will manage a small caseload of Clinical Negligence matters independently while also supporting Senior Solicitors with their complex cases from inception through to completion, covering both pre-litigation and litigated matters. You will be responsible for investigating liability, thoroughly reviewing medical records, instructing medical experts, drafting Letters of Claim, assessing quantum, and making Part 36 offers.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in managing Clinical Negligence claims and strong drafting skills for key legal documents. This is an excellent role for someone looking to deepen their expertise in Clinical Negligence within a supportive and well-regarded team.

The Candidate
* Experience of handling a Clinical Negligence caseload or supporting other Clinical Negligence Solicitors
* Knowledge of the Clinical Negligence Pre-Action Protocol
* Thorough understanding of the CPR and the Litigation process
* Previous experience of hitting KPIs
* Experience in training and developing staff
* Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
* Strong legal and leadership skills with a keen eye for detail
* Excellent organisation and time-management skills
