We are seeking an Admin assistant to work with the FPHS CEIAG team. This role will support the team with admin linked to careers, work experience and all areas of advice and guidance. If you have excellent administrative skills and enjoy working with young people then this is an exciting opportunity for you.
At FPHS we have a drive and determination to promote the best academic standards as well as aiming to be a fully inclusive school. We are over-subscribed with an excellent reputation in the community.
We are a large school with 270 in each year group and are over our PAN in some year groups. Yet it doesn’t feel big. We’ve worked incredibly hard to make sure that pupils and staff still feel unique and that we ‘know’ each other. Consequently, it’s a happy place to be and a place where we can make mistakes knowing that we are supported by our colleagues.
At FPHS both adults and young people are encouraged to ASPIRE, equipped to THRIVE and empowered to ACHIEVE. As part of the Watergrove Trust we are driven by the purpose of ‘providing more’ and this role is all about ensuring that our young people know, understand and can take advantage of the many opportunities that can come their way whilst they are here with us and after they leave school.
We aim to give our young people choices and the power to make them and this role is vital in ensuring that we can fulfil this goal. We want our young people to feel empowered so that they develop into well-rounded adults who are able to venture into a rapidly changing world with confidence, determination and a belief that they can do whatever they set their mind to. Working with this team you will be instrumental in providing opportunities that will make this possible.
FPHS is a special place with amazing young people and dedicated colleagues; but don’t take my word for it, come and take a look. We look forward to hearing from you.
Why should you come and work with us?
We have high expectations and encourage all members of the community to continuously aspire to be the best that they can in everything that they do. This includes having excellent performance development opportunities for those with aspirations for leadership at all levels.
Professional learning is valued here at FPHS and we ensure that professionals can make decisions as well as empowering all to continue learning at all times.
In addition to this, the well-being of all members of our community is always considered in everything that we do and all decisions made so that all may thrive. We are a school that values learning in all areas. We aim to give all our pupils the very best start in life, to help them develop into well-rounded young adults, able to venture into a rapidly changing world with confidence and determination and make a positive contribution to society.
We know that there is always more to do to ensure that every child’s educational experience is rich, character-building and of the highest possible standard. FPHS is a special place with amazing young people and dedicated colleagues; if you want to join us, we look forward to hearing from you.
This role is Term time only (plus 5 days)
Deadline: 12.00pm Noon Friday 7th February 2025
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Successful candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check, checks of references and employment history.
