Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board
The post holder will provide a range of patient-focused reception, clerical, and administrative duties to support the provision of healthcare within the busy Physiotherapy Service.
The successful candidate will have direct patient contact via telephone and/or face-to-face, and will demonstrate a calm and professional manner when liaising with patients, colleagues, members of the public, and other agencies.
Knowledge of Health Board IT systems to include WCCIS and Myrddin would be desirable, although full training will be given.
The post holder may at times be required to work at any Cwm Taf Morgannwg site as directed by their line manager.
Main duties of the job
Brief Overview
1. First point of contact for patients via telephone and/or face-to-face
2. Inbound/outbound calls
3. Clerical tasks, including scanning referrals, distributing appointment letters
4. Use of clinical information systems (Myrddin/WPAS) to update confidential information
5. Liaising with patients, clinical and administrative colleagues
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Education/Qualification/Training
* Good standard of maths and English
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office
* ECDL
Experience
* Experience of working in a busy environment
* Ability to prioritise and manage workload
* Previous experience of Patient Information Systems (e.g., Myrddin)

* Ability to communicate with staff at all levels
