Bramwith Consulting is a Market Leading Infrastructure & Utilities Giant at the forefront of growth and investment seeking multiple Project Management hires to join their ever-expanding strategic procurement function. The UK's energy system is undergoing an exciting period of transformation, and you could be part of it!
The Senior Project Manager will be tasked with contributing to impactful infrastructure projects that support the UK's net zero goals. You'll be responsible for leading project management activities across Real Estate, Facilities Management, and CAPEX to deliver quality, value for money, and timely project completion.
The position will utilize strong project management acumen, continuous improvement, risk management, budget and resource management to successfully deliver business-critical projects relating to Real Estate, Property, Facilities Management, and CAPEX.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Effective Project Management to devise, implement and execute detailed project plans according to the established timelines. Ensure continuous monitoring of project progress and adherence to project scope, budget, and deadlines.
2. Manage the quality and timeliness of a broad variety of projects across Property, Real Estate, Facilities Management, and CAPEX.
3. Create and manage project budgets including cost estimations and tracking of expenses. Allocate resources effectively to maximize efficiency and ensure projects are delivered within budget.
4. Ensure projects comply with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies. Implement measures to maintain high standards of work throughout the project.
5. Effectively collaborate with internal teams and manage external stakeholders such as consultants, contractors, suppliers, business owners, and authorities to ensure project success.
6. Ensure concerns are addressed through the project lifecycle with effective relationship management.
7. Identify areas for continuous improvement focusing on both processes and efficiencies. Identify risks and devise strategies to mitigate them.
8. Develop a robust network of contractors and suppliers to support project delivery.
Key Requirements:
1. Strong project management experience and an understanding of the methodologies, tools, and techniques. Experience within Property, Real Estate, Facilities Management, and CAPEX.
2. IOSH Managing Safely. CDM procedure awareness. Health and Safety assurance awareness.
3. Knowledge of property and CAPEX projects regulations, codes, and standards.
4. Negotiation, risk management, compliance, and contract management experience.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, effective stakeholder management acumen. Contract management experience.
6. Understanding of the development cycle (business case, design, consents, procurement, delivery, handover, and project management).
7. Ability to travel to sites across Southern England when required.
