Full time office-based role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts payable assistant for one of our clients based in the Kingston upon Thames area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reporting to the Finance Director you will be working as part of small friendly team in the finance department, you will be responsible on boarding new suppliers.
* Entering supplier invoices into the system and emailing the invoices for approval.
* Entering codes and Purchase orders on the system
* Assisting the finance team with further finance duties as required
Person Specification:
1. Previous experience as an accounts payable assistant or accounts payable administrator is essential.
2. Working Knowledge of Sage, Oracle Net Suite will be a distinct advantage; however x-training can be provided.
3. Good working knowledge of accounting systems is essential i.e. Sage
4. Numerate with a high level of accuracy and good attention to detail
5. Ability to work on own initiative, organise and prioritise workload
6. A can do, positive approach to work
7. A flexible team player who enjoys working as part of small team.
