Technical Operations, Resources, and Services team (TORS), are on a journey, expanding our support for an exciting new digital technology initiative, and we’re looking for an Assistant Technician who is passionate about supporting various hardware and software packages used in learning and teaching.
In this role, your flexible approach to work and customer service skills are essential. You’ll be enabling students to access extended reality (XR) technology effectively by ensuring the hardware is ready for use and loaded with the required software helping each class run smoothly and effectively.
Although you will be predominantly working at our Collegiate campus, you will also support activities at our City campus, supporting activities wherever you’re needed most. You’ll need to be comfortable working collaboratively across our TORS team to support a range of subjects and classroom settings. While an interest in XR is valuable, don’t worry if you’re new to the technology – we provide full training in this area.
