Production Scheduler (Newtownards) Lakeland Dairies Co-operative Society Limited (The Group) is the second largest dairy processor on the island of Ireland. The Group’s Agribusiness Division (Lakeland Agri) operates a state of the art Animal Feed Manufacturing Facility and is a leading and innovative provider of the highest quality feeds and agricultural inputs to dairy, beef and sheep farmers across the north and south of Ireland. The role: This rewarding opportunity will have operational responsibility for providing an efficient interface between Planning, Operations and Purchasing to create and maintain daily and weekly Production Schedules for our site which aim to achieve the highest level of production efficiency, lowest level of material waste and minimum changeover times. The person: This role will require an individual that possesses GCSE Maths & English at grade C or above (or equivalent) or demonstratable experience from within a production or planning based role. Proficiency in the use of IT systems (ERP system plus MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint), excellent planning, written and verbal communication skills are ither key attributes of this position. Previous experience of using SAP and working experience gained within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment would be advantageous.
