Job Title: Secondary SEN Tutor Location: South East England, Berkshire, Wokingham Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide specialised educational support to secondary school students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Create individualised learning plans to cater to the specific needs of each student Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to support the academic and social development of SEN students Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the holistic development of students Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification Experience working with students with SEN Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Prior experience working as a SEN Tutor or in a similar role Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students Strong organisational and time-management abilities Empathy and patience when working with SEN students Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs Training in specific SEN interventions and techniques Working Conditions: The role of Secondary SEN Tutor is based in a secondary school setting in Wokingham, Berkshire. The position is part-time, with flexible hours to accommodate student needs. The tutor will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide support and guidance in a collaborative educational environment.
