We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team immediately. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting children’s development and helping them reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 or small group support to students, including those with additional needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD).
* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and tailored lessons.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
* Help manage classroom behaviour and promote learning strategies.
* Support students with personal care needs, if required.
Requirements:
* Experience working with primary-aged children in an educational setting.
* Knowledge or experience of working with children with special educational needs (SEN), particularly ASD, is highly desirable.
* A caring and patient attitude, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build positive relationships with staff, students, and parents.
* An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) is required.
